I have to say that when I started this card, I had no idea what to do in mind. I literally grabbed two bags of buttons, Polka Dot Basics II, smokey shadow ink, Baby Button Bits, and spring moss cardstock. I felt mojo-less last night, and I just knew the card was NOT going to turn out.
I started by stamping the polka dots on the spring moss. After deciding it was going to be a girl baby card, I added sweet blush buttons to my new leaf pea pod. I matted it with sweet blush and stamped the sentiment in smokey shadow. Ugh. I didn't like it.
I rounded the edges. Ugh. Still didn't like it.
Then, I added the lace, and it seemed to soften it a bit. After hating the original, I decided I kinda liked the way it turned out. So, no, not tooting my own horn but proud that I didn't give up.

Super Sweet Card! I love the lace and the pink with moss
Sometimes the creative process just takes a little more trial and error. You've made a very sweet baby card - the lace is the perfect touch.
Girl you should definitely toot your own horn for this card. It is absolutely lovely. Adding the lace border was perfect. Softened it, and gave it a vintage-y feel. Great job and aren't you glad you didn't give up!
